Block Colour and Palm Prints : Kenzo Resort Collection SS/14

Aside from Kenzo's vibrant perfume 'Kenzo Flower' being one of my favourite scents , Japanese fashion brand Kenzo is known for its eclectic prints and bold colouring within the collections. Kenzo's prints are fun , fresh and adaptable and I have always been impressed with the unusual shapes and the sharp yet relaxed tailoring of the clothes without them being too formal. Here is a snippet of Kenzo Resort Collection SS/14!

Love this look and new shape skirt!

The colours in this piece are beautifully put together and the shape of the shirt makes it look flirty but smart at the same time!

Dressed up or dressed down , this jumpsuit would suit most figures which is why I love it, loose fitting with a cinched in waist gives the illusion of a smaller waist and the colour will make you pop out of the crowd.

Clashing prints is a bold trend for the confident men and women in fashion! if this isn't your style you can always clash softer prints that are not as busy as the ones above or just go for colour blocking instead.

Im in love with the palm print on this jacket and the best thing about it is that you can wear any colour you want, Monochrome has no boundaries when it comes to creating an overall outfit. I would team this with bright cobalt blue tailored peg trousers and a zesty orange clutch!

Hyperrealist Style : Mary Katrantzou

For those who know about the Greek designer Mary Katrantzou will obviously have the knowledge of her extravagant and exquisitely printed landscape designs and graphic peices. Her new Resort 2014 collection is hard not to gaze upon as the unique landscape prints on the clothes are so vibrant, its as if the clothes are there to make any fashionista a walking canvas painting!
Just take a look at these stunning peices from the Resort 2014 collection.

This jacket's print is so stunning, the floral printed shorts make the whole outfit and triggers  your mind into thinking of summer evenings with an oriental backdrop.

The collection is full of intense rich and vibrant colour as well as the gorgeous landscapes, the use of clashing two landscapes or prints gives the outfits more depth and a lot more detail. The more I look at it, the more I'm fixated with the vast amount of detail.
