Personal Wardrobe Inspiration: Graduation Print!

So yesterday was a very big day for me!..... MY GRADUATION!! and what a day it was! This important day went so fast I didn't have time to post the elegant watercolour inspired print I was wearing, so here it is!..

This beautiful watercolour painting inspired dress has a stunning silk like finish with an A-line / lantern shaped skirt when on. The length is modest and is just above the knee making it not too short or too long. The print makes the dress look exquisite and I love the way the panels on the dress have a different part of the print which give the dress more depth and more of an alluring look.

The print is so detailed and the sheen from the silk look material makes it look a lot more expensive than it actually is...

Perfect graduation dress and also perfect for any other formal event! As for the price you cannot go wrong!

Prints ,Prints ,PRINTS! : Holly Fulton A/W13

Anything printed i'm instantly drawn to, and i'm glad that A/W13 is full of print and colour ( even if it is a slightly darker tone) Designer Holly Fulton gets it right with the never ending collection of graphic prints and rich to warm berry tones while adding a spalsh of monochrome to the mix!

I am in love with the leather that has been added to the collection the detail makes it so much more fun

 And the lipstick graphic print skirt is stunning, i can see this skirt becoming very popular , maybe a high-street inspired version will be ...

As well as this elaborately printed pinafore dress! 

The smart choice of footwear gives the pieces a more formal look but somehow also makes them look young and fun.

Simply Modern : Smythson of Bond Street

A few months ago I served a woman who had the most well made and classic looking handbag I have ever seen. A Smythson Antonia Top handle bag in black. Ever since that first bag encounter I instantly went online to find out more about the brand and their collection of bags.

The extremely fine craftsmanship and soft leathers come with a rather large bank breaking price tag but the detail and weight explains it all.

Smythson was founded in 1887 and is a British manufacturer of fine leather goods.

The Grosvenor

Without having a fussy logo plastered all over the handbags ( which I personally find unattractive) these bags make a statement themselves with the clean cut leather thats precisely stitched together.

House of Holland SS/13 Favourites

So I may be a bit late in discussing Spring and Summer favourites as Autumn and Winter is fast approching but I had to show the amazing patterns and colours that jumped at me in designer Henry Hollands SS/13 collection. 

I look at this and think 'FUN'. The collection involved a mixture of clashing prints , bright and blinding colours and a strong sense of the tie die trend. But thats just my opinion. Anyone wearing these striking pieces will definitely make a lasting impression.

I am also infatuated with the boots which give the pieces a tomboyish and edgy look rather than finishing the look off with a pair of towering and "these shoes are amazing but they are not made for walking in" shoes.

Summer Dazed by Matthew Williamson

Whenever there is a glimpse of sunshine in Britain everyone makes sure they makes the most out of it by whipping out their shorts and florals and dashing to the nearest park! Floral prints are a trend that never seems to leave the fashion scene and to be honest, I'm glad! One designer who infuses a large amount of beautiful floral prints combined with electrifyingly bright and bold colours is the gorgeous British designer , Matthew Williamson.

Zesting

Orange is probably one of my favourite colours so when I saw this it was needed.... I get asked about this bag ALOT so here it is ....

  If you havent already guessed , the bag is from Zara and is only .... £20 FULL PRICE! yes shocking isnt it? but Zara's basic range of bags are very affordable and very expensive looking so its always worth a look.
