The Boyfriend Jean

Im not usually one to follow trends as I feel that the whole 'trend' process is quite repetitive over the years. In my eyes if you have a selection of, leather, floral, pastel, neon, black, white, aztec, tartan and denim items ( maybe a few metallic or holographic pieces to spice things up...) in your wardrobe your pretty much set for any trend that hits you! At the moment my wardrobe is a little chaotic and I've come to the conclusion that I'm a little bit all over the place. So working for a fashion retailer and from previous experiences, denim is (apparently) coming back into fashion for SS14. In my opinion denim never left and never will leave but it seems to be more of a Spring / Summer trend. So I decided to create something a bit different. This is a video with 3 different looks with my new favourite jeans. 'The Boyfriend Jean!'

I know most of the products I post have a very bank breaking price tag attached to the embellished seams of luxury but in today's current market anyone can achieve a high quality look at an affordable price. You can even make some of these yourself with the right amount of material and a youtube video seamstress to guide you along your way to creating a new and vibrant wardrobe all year round!

One of the top places to find some traffic stopping prints is ASOS.COM. This online only fashion heaven is home to branded goods as well as their own branded items which look sooooo good its hard to believe the price tags the clothes and accessories have! I love embellished and patterns jackets as they can brighten up any boring outfit and also can make an outfit look more expensive than the price tag attached! These two jackets are heavily patterned and embellished which can make accessorising more simple as you can let the jacket do the talking.
